This is the first time I have seen/heard of the The Original Dish Drying Mat. I was pretty excited to try this product because one of my pet peeves is how dirty the dish drainer gets.. no matter how hard I try to keep it clean. I was initially impressed to learn that this mat was machine washable. I can honestly say that I really love this mat. It is very absorbant and I don't have to clean any excess water off the counter (in the dish dry area) after I am finished washing the dishes. I will be buying another mat so I can switch the mats out while I wash one. This mat also comes in additional colors. It retails for 4.99 and is available at Bed Bath and Beyond exclusively.*
